SUV Drives Into South Tulsa House

A 49-year-old man who drove his SUV into a south Tulsa house has been taken to St. Francis Hospital in fair condition. The Tulsa Fire Department is working to stabilize the house so the vehicle can be removed.

TULSA, OK -- The driver of an SUV that crashed into a south Tulsa house has been transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, according to Tina Wells with EMSA.

The driver is described as a 49-year-old male in fair condition.

The SUV drove into a house located in the 7900 block of S. Hudson. On scene reports indicate that the driver came to a "T" intersection and hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

The Tulsa Fire Department was still on scene at about 6 p.m., working to stabilize the house so they could get the SUV out of the house.

The incident took place shortly after 5 p.m.
