Third Homicide In Four Days

A 28-year old is dead after he is shot outside at a south Tulsa apartment complex early Tuesday.

Tulsa Police were called to the Copper Mill Apartments at 71st and Granite shortly before 5 a.m. Tuesday.

An off duty security officer heard gunshots. When he went to check it out he found the victim, identified as Alan Ring, who had been shot several times lying in the street.

Ring was rushed to a Tulsa hospital where he later died.

Police officers are looking for a man, about 25-35 years old, last seen driving a tan colored Nissan Altima, with a decal on the back window.

Tulsa Police are still investigating what led to the shooting.  This is the city's 29th homicide of the year.
