Scooter Rear-Ends Semi

A motor scooter rider has been treated and released from a Tulsa hospital after he was involved in a Friday morning accident on I-44 in Catoosa. 

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 33-year-old Samuel Hurtubise's scooter apparently hit the back of a semi-truck at I-44 and 193rd East Avenue.

Hurtubise was air lifted to a Tulsa hospital.

OHP troopers say the driver of semi apparently didn't know anything had hit his truck and kept on driving.
