INCOG Encouraging Carpooling

It's called Green Traveler. It's a website set up by INCOG. You can log on and find other commuters who live nearby and are also looking to carpool. INCOG says it has 1,500 registered users, including 500 new users since May 1st.

Organizers hope the website encourages drivers to look for other ways to get around town.

"Bike, bus, and buddy up is something that we talk about a lot and if you think about those things as ways of transportation you can really reduce your cost of travelling," said INCOG Spokesperson Dianne Dessauer.
