Police need your help to catch another crook and bring a Tulsa family some peace of mind. Their loved one was murdered, trying to help a friend.
News On Six crime reporter Lori Fullbright reports the family wants to find out who's responsible and so do police.
On June 23 around 2 a.m. officers went to 1711 East 67th Street and found Mark Grace stabbed to death.
Police say Grace was with a neighbor. They were going to a club to pick up Grace's girlfriend and the neighbor's wife, who had been having a girl's night out, but said their van had been stolen.
However, the neighbor's wife had gotten a ride and when they came up on her in the street, she and her husband started arguing.
Witnesses say that's when two men and a woman jumped into the fray and when Grace tried to calm things down, he was killed.
The three suspects took off in a two-door sliver Honda Civic.
"The vehicle is described as having after market brake lights and a fin on the trunk lid," said Officer Jason Willingham with the Tulsa Police Department.
Detectives would also like to talk to the people who gave the neighbor's wife a ride home that night.
"A female in her mid-20's in an orange sleeveless blouse was given a ride from 15th and Sheridan near Club Fusion to 61st and Yorktown and then to 67th and Utica," said Officer Willingham.
Police hope someone with information will help them shake loose the answers they need to give Grace's family some answers.
If you know anything about Mark Grace's murder call Crime Stoppers at 596-COPS.
You don't have to give your name. If your tip leads to an arrest, the Citizens Crime Commission will pay you a cash reward.
