Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry is pleading with President Bush to help 24 storm-ravaged Oklahoma counties.
The affected counties stretch from the panhandle to Green Country. The counties involved are Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Cotton, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Harmon, Harper, Jackson, Kay, Kiowa, Major, Okfuskee, Osage, Ottawa, Roger Mills, Rogers, Tillman, Washita and Woods.
Rogers County is on the list after parts of Claremore ended up underwater. Other counties didn't see floods, but thunderstorms and wind damage.
Altogether, the governor estimates June storms did $9.5 million in damage.
