Thunderstorms have once again left thousands of people without power Friday morning.

News on 6 Reporter Jeffrey Smith reports pouring rain and lightning lasting for several hours overnight.  As the storms moved through, the winds topped out at 70 miles per hour. And while the damage is not severe, it is pretty scattered across the Tulsa area.

PSO says at least 4,000 customers are still without power in the Broken Arrow and east Tulsa area.

Several power lines just snapped in half at Pine and Mingo in Tulsa.  There were also several snapped power lines in Broken Arrow, as well. The winds were severe enough to collapse a wall at an apartment complex in south Tulsa.  A brick exterior-wall at the Windsail Apartments at 73rd and Mingo was blown over.  The bricks just collapsed into the parking lot.  No one was injured.  In fact, the residents of the apartments closest to the wall say they didn't know there was any damage at all until Tulsa Police came knocking on their doors.

There were no injuries that we know of related to this storm.

Tornado warnings were issued for Tulsa, Okmulgee, Blaine and Caddo counties Thursday night, but there was no confirmation of a tornado.

The bad news is that we just can't seem to get a break for all this stormy weather.  Just when PSO restored power from the storms from last weekend.  We get another round of bad weather that again leaves thousands without power.
