SUNRIVER, Ore. (AP) -- Mark McNulty closed with a 4-under-68 to win The Tradition by five shots over David Edwards.

His first victory in a major would have been by a wider margin, but he double-bogeyed the 18th hole. He finished with a total of 16 under.

Edwards began the day with a share of the lead but faltered with a 1-over-73 for an 11 under total.

D.A. Weibring shot a 72 and finished alone in third, six shots back.

It was McNulty's sixth win on the Champions Tour.
