State school superintendent Sandy Garrett was in Tulsa this week for the 2004 leadership conference at the Tulsa Convention Center.

Monday morning, Garrett gave her state of education address. Her speech focused mainly on how the 21st century calls for Oklahoma educators to rethink high school.

The conference continues Tuesday and Wednesday.
