Employees Remember Tulsa Orthodontist, Family Killed In Plane Crash: ‘Can’t Say Enough Good Words’

After a Tulsa orthodontist and his family were killed in a plane crash, his employees and coworkers remember his kind, caring and selfless personality.

TULSA, Oklahoma -

Employees of the Tulsa orthodontist who died with his family in an Arkansas plane crash said he was a kind and caring person.

Lindsey Kerr has worked for Dr. Mark Andregg on and off for 13 years. She said he had a happy-go-lucky personality and always put others before himself.

"He really was caring with every single person, the parents, the patients, the families that came here, he was just a really good guy," Kerr said.

Kerr said when she first heard he and his family died in a plane crash in Arkansas on Friday, she didn't believe the news.

She said Dr. Andregg, his wife Shannon and their son Nathan were more like family to her.

"His family was just very giving, his wife, beautiful. We can't say enough good words about them really," Kerr said.

Kerr said there was never a dull moment inside the office, and patients always wanted to go back and visit Dr. Andregg.

Elizabeth Bowles has worked as an assistant for two years and said he taught her everything she knows.

"He made it easy to come in and work, he made it easy to learn, he made the patients feel comfortable," Bowles said.

Kerr and Bowles said the outpouring of support they have received from patients and other dentists has been incredible.

While things may not be the same inside the office, they hope to keep taking care of Dr. Andregg's patients and keep he and his family's memory alive.

"We just want to tell the family in heaven goodbye, and we love you and we'll see you later," Kerr said.
