Former News On 6 Anchor Dale Hogg Inducted Into TPS Athletics Hall Of Fame

A News On 6 icon was inducted into the Tulsa Public Schools Athletics Hall of Fame Thursday night.

Dale Hogg made history as Tulsa’s first Black TV News anchor here at News On 6. Before that, he was a standout athlete for Booker T. Washington High School.

"Some of the things that coaches said stick with you all these years,” Hogg said. “Never say 'can’t' on this field, on the football field or the basketball court. Because if you just work hard, if you think about teamwork, there is nothing you cannot do."

Since his time with News On 6, Hogg has been involved in different industries in Tulsa and has broken many barriers.
