49-Year-Old Man Drowns In Lake Eufaula, OHP Reports

Robert Leland Starr Jr., of Eufaula, Oklahoma was found at approximately 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

Medical Examiner Gina Fader responded to the scene, where the 49-year-old was pronounced dead.

The OHP report says Starr was spotted in shallow water by a boater and the recovery was made by Marine Enforcement Division.

There was no flotation device in use.

The cause of the drowning is still under investigation.
