Cooking Corner: Jalapeño Poppers

Snacks are the key to a good holiday party and on Tuesday, AC Marshal from Marshall's family catering joined News On 6 at 4 p.m. and shared how he makes Jalapeno Poppers in the Air Comfort Solutions Kitchen.

1. Cut top off jalapeños
2. Slice jalapeños in half and clean out all seeds
3. In bowl mix 8oz cream cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese or favorite cheese, 2 tablespoons of favorite seasoning (with no salt)
4. Fill all sliced jalapeños with cream cheese mixture.
5. Place lil smilie in middle of cream cheese mixture
6. Cut bacon strips in half
7. Wrap half of bacon around jalapeño and put a toothpick in the middle
8. Turn oven on 350 degrees
9. Place jalapeños on baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes or until bacon is crispy.
