Midwest City Walmart Evacuated After Gas Leak

MIDWEST CITY, Oklahoma -- A Midwest City Walmart is back open after a gas leak forced the store to evacuate overnight.

Police said the Walmart at 23rd Street and Douglas Boulevard was closed at about 1 a.m. after an employee hit a gas line with a fork lift.

There was a small leak, so the store was evacuated. The gas line was shut off and Oklahoma Natural Gas was called to repair the line.

No one was hurt.
