UNDATED -- Two area restaurants held fundraisers for Jeremiah Mitchell, a 6-year-old meningitis patient from Oologah.

Bacterial meningitis took Jeremiah's arms and legs, and it nearly took his life.  He braces for more surgery this week at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Cincinnati.

Chili's in Owasso or Claremore donated 10 percent of customer's tickets to Jeremiah's family.

How To Help Jeremiah's Family

The family is requesting that Walmart gift cards be sent to them in Cincinnati to help them take care of basic needs.
