What’s the best way to snap your football team out of its funk?  Isn’t it obvious?  Fire the head coach.  Last week following a devastating fall-from-ahead loss to Kansas, Colorado fired head coach Dan Hawkins.  They responded with a 34-14 win over Iowa State Saturday for their first Big 12 win.The 1-7 Dallas Cowboys, underachieving like no other team in football this season, fired head coach Wade Phillips last week.  They responded with their best performance of the season in a 33-20 win over the New York Giants Sunday.Minnesota Vikingsyou’re on the clock.
