TULSA, Oklahoma - About a thousand volunteers come together to give a Union school a "clean slate."

"It's extreme home makeover meets the gospel," Battle Creek Church Pastor Alex Himaya said.

Members of Battle Creek Church give new life to Briar Glenn Elementary's library, community center, nurse's station and teachers' lounge.

The school calls it a "blessing that dropped from the sky."

"When our kids to see all this newness, they're just not going to believe it," Principal Tamra Bird said.

This is the sixth year Battle Creek has been doing its Clean Slate Project.

This year they also renovated New Beginnings Church in north Tulsa.
