A significant cold front is heading toward Oklahoma, bringing with it a slight chance of wintry precipitation.
For those who live in the Panhandle temperatures will be 10 to 25 degree below normal on Sunday and Monday.
Elsewhere, northern Oklahoma should see temperatures in the 20's and 30's with very cold wind chills.
News On 6 meteorologist Michael Grogan says this front will bring some of the coldest air of the season into the Sooner state. He says starting Sunday morning temperatures across Easter Oklahoma will fall in the upper 30's. By dusk, the temperature will nose dive into the 20's.
Grogan says as for snow, the chance of the white stuff is slight and the probability for accumulation is almost zero.
The deep freeze won't last for long, Grogan says warmer temps will return by mid week.
