Bartlesville police are investigating a shooting that wounded two people. One of the victims is in critical condition at Tulsa hospital, according to Bartlesville Police.

It happened just after 3 a.m. outside a mobile home in the 1600 block of SW Middlepath in west Bartlesville. It's in the Mountainview Trailer Park.

Dustin Lee Giddens, 23, is in custody in the shooting.

A woman at the mobile home confirmed the shooting had taken place there but said she was trying to forget and did not want to talk to our photographer.

Another witness said the two wounded men were good friends who were attending a gathering at the trailer park, but that has not been confirmed by police. He didn't know Giddens or the reason for the shooting.

Police said the victims are 27 and 29.

"One victim is reported to be talking while the other was rushed into surgery," said Captain Jay Hastings, BPD.

"It does not appear the suspect knew the victims at this point but interviews are still ongoing to determine why the confrontation occurred."

Hastings said about an hour after the shooting, Giddens turned himself in. He was booked on two complaints of shooting with intent to kill.

Police are conducting interviews and plan to release further information in the shootings, Hastings said in a news release.
