Police arrested a Tulsa man they say led them on a chase in a stolen car Sunday night.
Officers said they received a report of a Ford Mustang being stolen at about 11 p.m. A short time later, police spotted the car headed south on Highway 169 near 11th Street. Police tried to stop the car, but they said the driver took off.
Officers said when the Mustang exited onto East Admiral Place, it struck a curb causing a flat tire and the driver got out and ran. They say a K9 officer eventually located with him nearby.
Police identified him as Justin Gillespie, 36, of Tulsa.
Police booked Justin Gillespie into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of resisting arrest, possession of a stolen vehicle, speeding and eluding. Jail records show he has a November 9 court appearance.
