Checks Stolen From Tulsa Apartments; Suspects Arrested In Mississippi

Two men suspected of breaking into Tulsa apartment complexes and stealing rent checks were arrested in Mississippi for the same thing.

According to authorities, Daniel Oliva Palacios, 23, and Jordy Fanjul Sanchez, 22, were pulled over by police in Ridgeland, Mississippi who found money orders, checks and stolen computers.

Detectives said the two men are from Florida and were driving state to state, breaking into apartment complex offices for rent checks.

Tulsa police said the pair hit eight apartment complexes. Police said of those eight, checks were stolen from three.
