Police: Sleepy Driver Hits Tulsa Power Pole

Tulsa Police reopened Harvard Avenue at 49th Street South after a crash involving a power pole late Thursday. 

Officers said the driver told police he fell asleep and hit the pole at about 10:15 p.m. 

EMSA took the man to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries, according to police.

Harvard Avenue was closed for several hours between 47th and 49th while PSO worked to stabilize the pole.
