Tulsa Police Investigating Sixth Homicide In Two Days
TULSA, Oklahoma - Tulsa police are investigating their sixth homicide in the past two days.
This one, leaves a teenager dead.
At around 8 p.m. Tuesday, officers received reports of shots fired in the 1600 block of South 125th East Avenue. When they arrived, police learned someone in a silver SUV had fired numerous shots at a 16 year old and a 19 year old who were walking down the street.
Police say neither teen was hit, but officers recovered a number of shell casings from the street.
While investigators were at that scene, they learned a silver SUV showed up at a Tulsa hospital with a 17-year-old gunshot victim. Police say that teen was pronounced a short time later. .
Police have taken several people in custody for questioning, but say there hasn't been any arrests.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
