BIXBY, Oklahoma - Police arrested a suspected DUI driver for driving at least 70 mph in a Bixby neighborhood Tuesday evening.
They identified the driver as 26-year-old Russell Robinson of Broken Arrow.
In their report, Bixby Police said an officer attempted to stop a blue Honda CRV in the 10700 block of East 131st Street South for speeding.
They said Robinson took off turning off his lights and drove into a residential neighborhood at speeds reaching 70 mph in a 25 mph speed zone.
Police said the chase came to an end on East 135th Street South when Robinson slammed into a parked car.
Police said a search of the car turned up what appeared to be marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Russell Robinson was booked into the Tulsa County jail early Wednesday after a stop at a Tulsa hospital on complaints including DUI, aggravated speeding, eluding and drug possession.
