WAGONER, Oklahoma - A new STEM investment for several school districts in northeast Oklahoma kicked off with a little help from a robot on Wednesday.

"Mr. Robot" cut the ribbon on new STEM labs at Jay, Vinita, Inola and Wagoner High Schools.

MidAmerica Industrial Park says they're not just investing in a few high school students, they're investing in northeast Oklahoma.

Ten of MidAmerica's STEM labs are installed in Oklahoma high schools, costing about $250,000 each
