TULSA, Oklahoma - The Big 12 Wrestling Championship will remain in Tulsa through 2024, the Tulsa Sports Commission announced Tuesday.

Tulsa hosted the tournament in 2017 and 2018, and they extended the partnership with Big 12 Wrestling and the BOK Center venue.

The 2018 Championship set an all-time record with more than 18,000 tickets sold, according to the sports commission. The 2019 Championship is set for March 9 and 10 while 2020 dates are March 7 and 8.

The championship has an overall $1.5 million economic impact on the city each year, according to the Tulsa Sports Commission.  

Tickets are on sale now to the 2019 championship at the BOK Center website.
