Convicted Tulsa County Child Molester Sentenced To 55 Years
TULSA, Oklahoma - A Tulsa County woman was sentenced to 55 years in prison for six counts of child sex abuse. Jerrica Lackey was arrested in May 2017 after investigators said she abused a young child and recorded the acts, sending the video to her boyfriend in Florida.
Judge James Caputo sentenced Lackey to 30 years in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for count one of child sexual abuse and 25 years each for counts two through six. The sentence for counts two through six will run concurrently but consecutive to the 30 years for count one.
Lackey was previously sentenced to 25 years in federal court for distribution of child pornography and other crimes.
"We believe that Defendant Lackey will serve her 25-year federal sentence first, then be transferred to an Oklahoma state penitentiary to serve another 30 years," said Tulsa County Assistant District Attorney Katie Koljack.
"It was important to the state that this defendant be sentenced to a term that ensures that she is unlikely to have access to children for many, many years."
