Witnesses Describe Chaotic Shooting At Tulsa Walgreens

Many people were inside and outside of Walgreens as the shootings happened. Witnesses say it was a very chaotic scene as this all unfolded.

1 Dead After Shooting At Tulsa Walgreens 

"There was something going in the photo department, man got mad, pulled his gun out and shot them," said Sheryl Edwards.

Sheryl and Sharon Edwards say they stop at this Walgreens every day before work but never expected something like this to happen.

"We were only like maybe 1-2 minutes away from being in the middle of it and thank god we didn't get in the middle of it," said Sharon.

Sheryl says when she walked in, she saw a man lying on the ground and several other people crying.

"I walked in and I turned to my right and saw the man on the ground on the floor, and then they were rushing me out, but I did walk in on it," said Sheryl.

The women say it's sad and argument over a photo led to a shooting. People driving by say it was hard to tell what was going on at first. Javia Robinson says her mom had just picked her up from school. Then when they got 71st and Lewis, they started to see flashing lights heading their way.

"And I saw a whole bunch of police come and the ambulance driving past there and I had heard someone screaming and crying in the ambulance truck like they had got shot," said Robinson.

Robinson took some video as this was all unfolding and says officers just continued to flood the scene making them continue to wonder what had happened.

"Scary. Like it makes me not want to go into Walgreens anymore," said Robinson.

Walgreens has not said when this location will reopen.
