Man Arrested After Trying To Throw Contraband Over Oklahoma Prison Fence

The Muskogee County Sheriff's Office says it arrested a man trying to smuggle contraband into a prison.

Deputies say Carl Smith tried to throw three bags over the Jess Dunn Correctional Center's fence. Investigators say they found tobacco, bottles of vodka, cell phones, and more inside the bags.

Smith is in the Muskogee County Jail, being held on contraband charges.
