The former top lawyer for the Department of Health will serve 5 years probation after pleading guilt to sending threatening hoax emails to herself.
Julia Ezell told authorities she was the target of an angry marijuana advocate. During that time she was helping draft rules on medical marijuana.
An investigation revealed she had made up the threats and sent the emails to herself.
