Bartlesville Woman Cleared Of Charges In Hit And Run Death

In August Bartlesville Police arrested Millie Thompson for the death of Cleo "Cotton Bowl" Lewis.

On Saturday police released Thompson from jail after their investigation revealed she was not the driver and her vehicle was not involved.

Cleo Lewis was killed when he was struck while riding his motorcycle east on Frank Phillips Boulevard. It is believed a car ran a stop sign and hit Lewis at around 3 p.m.  Cleo Lewis was taken to a Bartlesville hospital, then transferred to a Tulsa hospital, where he later died.

Police say the investigation continues and they plan to make another arrest soon.
