Tulsa Non-Profit Introduces New Mobile Grocery Store

A new set of wheels is providing fresh produce for areas that need it most. R&G Family Grocer revealed the custom mobile store with a celebration outside the Pioneer Plaza on Saturday.

“We are really excited, especially for our customers. It’s brand new it was custom designed. We built the first one out of a 9-horse trailer,” said Executive Director Katie Plohocky.

The nonprofit travels to food deserts in the Tulsa area offering healthy and fresh produce choices. R&G have served over 50,000 customers since it started 5 years ago.
