'Expungement Expo' Held In Tulsa To Give People A 2nd Chance

The city of Tulsa is trying to help those who need a second chance.

Tulsa City Councilor Vanessa Hall-Harper and the Tulsa County District Attorney were on hand Monday for the Expungement Expo.

The expo is designed to help those who may be eligible to have convictions wiped off of their record.

Hall-Harper says “once people have acknowledged their mistake, that mistake doesn’t have to follow them for the rest of their lives.”

Hall-Harper also says that some people don’t even realize there’s something on their record that could be holding them back.
