Korean Beef Bulgogi

  • 1 lb Thinly sliced sirloin (top sirloin or any tender cut of meat)


  • 3 Tbs soy sauce
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 Tbs honey
  • 2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbs sesame oil
  • 2 Tbs minced garlic
  • 1 Tbl Gochujang Chile paste
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbs chopped green onion


  1. Mix all marinade ingredients together and pour over thinly sliced beef and allow to marinate 2 hours in the refrigerator.
  2. Heat non-stick skillet over high heat until very hot.  Add marinated beef and quick stir fry for approximately 1-1½ minutes stirring constantly until beef is firm and slightly caramelized.
  3. Serve over steamed white rice and garnish with additional toasted sesame seeds and green onions.  Spice it up with sriracha or Asian hot chilies.
