Police: Teen Driving Mom's Car, Hits Tulsa Light Pole

Police say a teenager lost control and crashed a car into a Tulsa street light pole early Tuesday near 26th and Yale.

Officers say the 16-year-old was headed north when the car hit a curb, then struck the pole.  Police say the teen's mom was unaware he was out driving the car at 3:30 a.m.

The teen wasn't injured, but the car on the other hand, sustained significant damage.
