Two Shot Near Mounds

Tulsa County deputies say two people were shot in a neighborhood near Mounds.

Deputies were called to the 800 block of East 181st Street South around 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017.

They say two people shot each other: one was shot in the arm and the other in the stomach. Deputies say the wounds are not life-threatening.

Deputies said it started in Beggs after a man was upset following a report that had been filed.

They said the man followed another person to a property in Mounds, which is where the two people were shot.

No details regarding the specifics of the filed report have been released.

Video from Osage SkyNews 6 HD showed deputies in the road between a home on one said and a large horse ranch on the other, with crime scene tape stretched between the fences. They closed 181st Street South while they investigated.
