Correction: This article previously stated Ella Locust was a Bixby High School graduate. The error has been fixed.

A 19-year-old died in a car crash Thursday near the intersection of 131st and Memorial. Police said the victim, Ella Locust, was in the passenger seat when the crash happened.

The car she was in was turning left into the new Kum & Go gas station parking lot when another car slammed into the side of them.

Friends said Locust was heading to her first day of work at the Kum & Go. Saturday and Sunday, family and friends organized a car wash to raise money to pay for her funeral. The family is working to organize another one and make funeral arrangements.

If you can help them with funeral expenses, go to their GoFundMe page.
