Man Gets Arm Stuck In Concrete Mixer In Okmulgee County

A man was hurt Friday morning at a road construction site in the 6800 block of Garfield Road.

Crews were mixing concrete while adding lanes to Highway 75A between Beggs and Mounds in Okmulgee County, News On 6 has learned.

The Okmulgee County Emergency Management Director said a worker got his arm stuck in the mixing machine around 9:30 a.m. September 15.

The injured man walked to the Life Flight helicopter for transport. We're told the man broke his arm and possibly his hand. The man is expected to be okay.

Life Flight, an ambulance and Oklahoma Highway Patrol are some of the agencies that responded to the scene.
