Emergency crews responded after a dump truck hit some power lines in northeast Tulsa.

It happened just north of the intersection at Pine Street and North 129th East Avenue, in the 2200 block of North 129th East Avenue. The truck snagged the power lines while northbound on North 129th East Avenue.

Power was shut off to the lines which were down in the roadway between two poles.

Tulsa Police and firefighters closed the road to traffic. There is a high pressure gas line in the area, but it wasn't impacted, authorities said. The truck driver was cited.

Drivers should avoid the intersection as PSO removes the downed lines.
