The Tulsa County Courthouse said it had to spray for bedbugs over the weekend.
Courthouse staff said they noticed the insects on the eighth and ninth floors and quickly called a pest control company to take care of those floors, and several others.
The courthouse said it happens a few times a year.
"Not uncommon at all. Especially in public buildings that have carpet, fabric on furniture, drapes, anything that this type of insect can weave its way into," said Tulsa County Clerk Michael Willis.
The staff said the bedbugs did not affect any trial schedules or anyone's health.
