Police have arrested two people in connection with Tulsa's latest homicide.
Sgt. Dave Walker says 20-year-old Donnie Jamison was arrested after he turned himself in early Saturday. He says just before 7 a.m., 17-year-old Markell Woodard was also arrested as a suspect by the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force
Police were called to the Las Americas grocery store in the 2400 block of East Admiral Place at 8 p.m. Saturday after a getting a report of a man who had been shot in the parking lot.

Sgt. Walker says an investigation showed the victim, had gotten into a Dodge Dart parked at the store to buy some marijuana. A few minutes later, he says shots were heard and the victim stumbled out of the car towards Admiral Place before collapsing.
EMSA took the victim to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Sgt. Walker says investigators immediately began trying to find the Dodge Dart.
At around 2 a.m. Saturday, Walker said Jamison, who was apparently the driver of the car, turned himself in and was arrested. Police booked him into the Tulsa County jail on a first-degree murder complaint.
Sgt. Walker says Woodard was arrested at a home at 34th and Lakewood and a Cadillac parked in the driveway was towed away.
He credited witnesses at the scene for coming forward and helping Tulsa Police find and arrest both Jamison and the juvenile in Tulsa's 26th murder of 2017.
The name of the victim has not yet been released.
