Family Safe As Firefighters Battle House Fire

No one was injured after a fire at a Tulsa home Tuesday evening.

Firefighters were called to a home near 21st and 137th in response to a fire.

Homeowners said they were inside when the fire started. They said they smelled smoke and tried to put the fire out themselves, but the flames were too big.

There is heavy damage to the garage and other parts of the home.

The family was able to make it out of the home but said they believe their dog was inside.

The homeowners said they had just finished remodeling parts of the house.

Firefighters are still investigating.
