The folks at Tulsa Community College believe being connected to every high-tech device imaginable, and the added tension of finals week, has their students pretty stressed.
The solution they've come up with at TCC involves meditation rooms, special yoga classes and even therapy dogs for stress relief.
All the stress relief is centered at the library; and Paula Settoon, the dean of libraries at TCC, said it’s all an attempt to help their students.
"Our students here tend to be parents, they work and they are taking classes too," she said.
They have special furniture, which gives you a little private space in the middle of a public space. They’ve got quiet study rooms and a meditation room complete with mood lighting and a chance to just shut down.
"Basically just stopping for a few minutes, letting go of all the distractions," Settoon.
They even have some therapy dogs; all meant to help relieve some stress.
