A person of interest in a domestic assault that ended with a woman seriously injured in the hospital is in jail Tuesday morning. Broken Arrow Police say 33-year-old Brent Morris is a person of interest in an aggravated assault and battery case.
Police say the female victim is now in the hospital with serious injuries.
Broken Arrow police say he assaulted the woman at a home in the 400 block of East Detroit Street on December 10.
Tulsa County Jail records show Morris was booked at 12:15 December 13, 2016, on a complaint of violation of protective order from earlier this year.
Court documents state Morris also willfully violated the protective order by sending messages and photos to the woman on social media. The woman said he assaulted her in February, putting her in a headlock and pulling out her insulin pump.
He also damaged her vehicle, televisions and other furniture in her home, threw bottles at her head and punched out windows, the protective order states.
Morris turned himself into the jail saying there was a warrant out for his arrest.
There are no assault charges listed and again police are just calling him a person of interest he has not been charged.
