Pedestrian Killed In I-44 Accident In Rogers County

We're still waiting to learn more about a deadly pedestrian accident on Interstate-44 near the Hard Rock Casino Friday evening.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one person was killed by a vehicle near the 193rd East Avenue in the westbound lanes of I-44.

The westbound lanes were closed for just under two hours following the 6:18 p.m. accident while troopers investigated.

The OHP did say the vehicle's driver was not injured.

Troopers have yet to release any information about the person who died or the circumstances surrounding the crash.
