Spiro Teen Dies From Injures In ATV Towing Incident

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 15-year-old Spiro teen has died following an ATV towing incident on Sunday northeast of Spiro.

Troopers said the teen died from his injuries at a Tulsa hospital, where he was flown after the November 20th incident on a county road.  

The OHP report states an ATV was pulling a disabled ATV with a wire cable which got tangled in the disabled ATV's front axle.  That caused it to roll over multiple times, injuring its rider.   

The OHP says the incident remains under investigation.
