Oklahoma Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help in finding a hit-and-run driver involved in a crash that killed a 14-year-old Wewoka boy early Sunday morning, November 6, 2016.

Trooper Dwight Durant said the teen was run over by an unknown vehicle sometime between midnight and 1:26 a.m. on NS 3660 Road just north of EW 12670 Road. That's about four miles north of Wewoka in Seminole County.

The driver didn't stop, but another motorist saw the victim and called for help, troopers say. Durant said they haven't found anyone who witnessed the hit and run. The teen was not carrying identification, but they were able to identify him as a Wewoka resident.

If you can help OHP in its investigation, call 918-423-3636.
