Muskogee Shooting Blamed On Fight Over Cell Phone Charger

Police confirm to us that someone has been shot in Muskogee Sunday night. The man was wounded at a duplex on Monta Avenue just off South Country Club, according to Muskogee Now.

Muskogee Now spoke with police who say the shooting may have happened during a dispute over a cell phone charger. The victim was identified as a 20-year-old man from North Carolina. He was shot by a pistol, but officers said they also found spent shotgun shells inside the duplex, the website reports.
