TCSO Tickets 3 Men In Connection With Shots Fired Near River

The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office said they have ticketed three men for reckless discharge of a firearm after police say they fired shots Sunday along the Arkansas River near 121st and Delaware. 

Police located three men and three teenagers the night of September 4, 2016 and took them in for questioning. Police also confiscated their weapons. 

The men told police they were just shooting for fun. 

But now authorities are checking to see if the guns were altered to be fully automatic, which is illegal. 

"Don't get out here and shoot along the river especially these populated areas because you never know what's gonna happen," said Tulsa Police Cpl. Dan Miller.
