Civic leaders from throughout northeast Oklahoma met Thursday to come up with an agenda for lawmakers.
The Tulsa area Chamber of Commerce calls it their "One Voice" agenda.
It brings together more than 70 organizations and more than 400 people to establish priorities for the upcoming year.
Education is one of the items at the top of the list.
Chamber CEO Mike Neal said, “We've done this for eight or nine years now. It's extremely effective. I think our legislators, both state and federal, say if you don't go through the process of getting it on the ‘One Voice’ agenda, you're not going to get it done this legislative session."
In past years, education and transportation issues have topped the agenda.
